Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Representative will develop a portfolio of customers and prospects with the goal of selling FABTECH ID products and services.
With a strategic position in the organization, the Sales Representative must ensure maximum profitability and growth for the company in line with its values and vision. The person will work from a home office and may be located anywhere in Canada or the United States.
Specific task description
Prospecting for new customers
- Develop a portfolio of customers and prospects consisting of small and large accounts.
- Find new customers in Quebec, Ontario, Eastern Canada, and the Eastern and Central United States.
- Develop and maintain the business relationships necessary for sales success.
Sales process management
- Generate leads and manage the sales pipeline with CRM.
- Effective management of the sales process and account management plan.
- Manage and maintain activity levels and sales funnels in line with quarterly and annual goals.
- Participate in the preparation of proposals and major presentations.
Participation in business strategies
- Work with our experts to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
- Develop an intelligence database on competitors; their strategies, activities, and prices. Gain a solid understanding of the industry and trends in workplace safety.
Skill requirements
- Results-oriented individual. Team player with strong business networking skills.
- Ability to develop complex sales strategies in large organizations.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a sales position.
- Strong experience in customer relationship management.
- Willingness to travel in Ontario and the U.S.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Experience in the mining, pulp and paper, construction and manufacturing sectors (an asset).
